Get to know the Keynote Speakers at SAP SAPPHIRENOW 2017

One of the highlights of attending the SAP SAPPHIRE NOW and ASUG Annual Conference is attending the keynotes. Keynotes in the General Session Theater are the headline addresses where SAP and ASUG executives and their guests offer their vision of the future and unveil exciting new announcements and breakthrough innovations. These major keynotes take place in the largest theater on the show floor and are scheduled to last for 1.5 hours.

Here are a few of the highlights for this year:

Bill McDermott, SAP CEO - The Urgency of Doing – Tuesday, May 16 - 9:00 a.m. ET SAP CEO Bill McDermott highlights the forces of change driving businesses in the global digital economy. He will present SAP’s innovation agenda and highlight the defining growth opportunities of the next two decades.

Today, Life is Good is a $100 million positive lifestyle brand sold by over 2,000 retailers across the U.S. and Canada. John, the CCO (Chief Creative Optimist) of Life Is Good, wrote and illustrated his first (poorly spelled) book at the age of five. He’s been writing and drawing ever since, graduating from the University of Massachusetts with dual degrees in English and Art. Bert, the CEO (Chief Executive Optimist), worked as a ski instructor and pizza delivery guy in Vail, CO before teaming up with his brother, John, to design and sell T-shirts in college dorms up and down the East Coast. After five years traveling in their van together, the brothers officially launched Life is Good with the mission to spread the power of optimism.

As a consequence, intelligent applications are now able to assess business situations automatically, point out required actions, and propose solutions to problems, all making decisions easier for the user. Agile collaboration with smart digital assistants provides new insights to accelerate business actions. Reducing time-consuming and tedious tasks increases business efficiency and enables everyone to focus on what’s important.
