Introducing, Tim Reiss, Approyo's Vice President of Service Delivery. Tim is a rockstar! He has been a part of the Approyo team for over a year now, however, his SAP experience spans more than 20 years. Tim first started on the functional side of SAP working Logistics Execution on 4.0B systems.
Today, Tim manages the SAP Operations Center at Approyo which provides Basis support for systems running up to S/4 HANA 1909. He overlooks a team of basis administrators and directs and helps them in whatever way needed. While the SAP technology has changed vastly in the last 20 years, Tim’s focus on providing the highest level of customer service has not. Approyo’s customers are Tim’s first priority. His mantra of 'we are the team down the hall' is what drives Approyo’s delivery excellence and partnership with our clients. We owe him a huge thank you every single day for everything he does to keep Approyo up and running, while providing excellent customer service and satisfaction.
A little about Tim outside of work...
Tim spends many weekends in the summer camping with his wife, Amy, who he has been married to for almost 30 years. He is the proud father of two adult children, Spencer, who is 25, and Madison, who is 21. Tim is a huge sports fan. He's known for being a huge Milwaukee Brewer Baseball fan, as you can tell by his shirt in his video. Having spent many years as a youth baseball umpire, he is opposed to allowing instant-replay in all sports. It is one area where he believes that the advances in technology may have made things worse. Tim is also an avid golfer, though he’ll tell you that he does not play nearly as much as he would like. In the not so distant past, Tim was an avid runner and even completed the Philadelphia Marathon. It is something that he looks forward to picking back up next Spring as the weather turns warmer.
Approyo and Tim specifically are looking to hire SAP Basis Administrators to join the team. If you are interested in applying, visit the career page for more information. Tune in next month for another Employee Spotlight video and blog post!
